As event producers we spend a lot of time focusing on the little things. For this corporate celebration in April, it was all about the big ones.
Guests arrived along this enormous industrial pier
Greeted by big bold drumming
Entered the vast raw warehouse
A perfect space for creating an epic Faneuil Hall experience on one end
And an oversized Boston sports baaah on the other.
The event featured substantial drama
And a whopping good time!

We have another addition to the AE Team. We are so excited to introduce our newest hire, Carrie!
What was your first job?
My very first job in middle school was as a cleaning lady for my church. My first “real” job was as Marketing & Public Relations / Development / Production Department Assistant at Hartford Ballet….talk about a whirlwind introduction to not-for-profit administration!
How did you get into the event planning industry?
Through my experience as a stage manager in the performing arts world. Many, many performing arts organizations host fundraising galas, donor cultivation events, and milestone extravaganzas. Those events, especially for Production Department team members, become all-hands-on-deck moments.
What is your favorite type of event?
Not-for-profit fundraisers, especially those with an AMAZING performance element have my heart….but all events are special because they mark important moments in the lives of the people and companies that host them.
What brought you to Boston?
I moved to Beantown to work for Boston Ballet
What is your trick to staying organized?
CHECKLISTS….I LOVE CHECKLISTS. Sometimes I even add something that I’ve just done to my list just for the pleasure of checking it off.
How has your first week been?
Exciting and super interesting as I dig into the history of AE and learn about our clients.
