5 weddings in 5 weeks

From the desk of: Phoebe Allen

Last year we produced 5 weddings in 5 weeks… just sit in that for a second. FIVE WEDDINGS IN FIVE WEEKS! That is insanity for a luxury wedding planner, but alas, we did it! And we live to tell the tale.

My favorite part about producing these five weddings is that they were all so uniquely different. We had a different vendor ‘dream team’ for each couple that was meticulously selected throughout our planning process. See for yourself below how unique each wedding was…

The weekends started in September with S+B on 9.30. Fun fact about this wedding… there was ZERO color and it was so beyond chic. We had three elongated tables with one continuous floral trellis going throughout the space. Black tie and grand!

Weddings continued on 10.7 for R+D ~ they had a private elopement and then an all out party for their guests. Best part about this wedding: the bride’s change of shoes!! We focused on gold and jeweled tones throughout the reception space.

Next up was M+TJ on 10.14 ~ they got married right on the water at the Duxbury Bay Maritime… even the bridal processional was by boat! The escort card display was one of our top moments from this wedding. The grooms family built the structure and we had made 160 individual mini buoy’s for our guests to take home.

The next weekend we were at The Newbury Hotel for E+R on 10.21. The room was FILLED with color… bright pinks and peach were all over the reception space. Oh and let’s not forget our bride’s custom gown. A true stunner. You wouldn’t even know from the photos below, but it was a monsoon outside!! Our bride was quite happy to not even step foot outside.

At this point… I saw the finish line. One more wedding to get through our insane fall season, and we went out with a BANG. R+N said their ‘I do’s’ on 10.28 at the SOWA Power Station. A venue big enough to fit over 1,500 guests and we had a nice cozy 300 :) With 24 THOUSAND square feet to play with, we got to create a ceremony space, cocktail space and reception/dance party space all within the four walls of SOWA. We are working to get this wedding published so see a sneak peak below!

Having said all that ~ I am proud to have produced 5 extremely different and unique weddings. Each couple that comes to AE is different… has different styles, personalities, budgets and tastes and it is up to US to create their vision. And I believe we succeeded each time this fall!
