Hi y’all!

My name is Sophie Vogel and I am beyond grateful to be writing this message as the new AE Events Assistant!

I am a recent graduate of Texas A&M University where I studied International Communications & Media. Post-commencement, I desired a place where I could be closer to family and would offer an inspiring change of scenery. With my entire life in a U-Haul trailer and with my cat in the passenger seat, I braved the long drive from Houston to Boston to pursue my passion of working in the events and hospitality industry.

Recently, I worked as a fine dining room manager overseeing servers and an event staff — a diverse, committed team that created intimate, detailed, and unique dining experiences. Joining the AE Team is an exciting opportunity to further develop my knowledge of the expansive varieties of event planning and the creative process it requires.

I am beyond grateful to be able to work with such an incredible team of supportive, driven, and innovative women who strive to execute and enrich the client’s vision. I am so excited to assist in planning events with the AE Team — whether it be a wedding, a corporate or non-profit function — whatever the event challenge may be!

Living with my two older brothers, our friends, a puppy, and a cat, my busy life often feels like a 90’s sitcom. Together we explore Boston by trying new restaurants and seeking out the city’s nightlife. I love to rock climb at my local gym and spend relaxing nights with my cat, Fritz, binge watching Love Island UK!
