Virtual Elf

What does a virtual elf look like you may ask? Well, she has long curly hair, can type a mile a minute, and is very nifty with a credit card.
The 2020 holiday season sure does look a little different this year, but that does not mean that the holidays are canceled and it certainly does not mean that presents are canceled! I know that we are all very tired of the words ‘virtual’ and ‘events’, but we found a way to bring some joy to this holiday season.
Before you cancel your holiday party all together consider making it virtual. I just produced our first Virtual Holiday Christmas party, and I was so jealous that I could not attend!
Here is how it happened:
Food: I know the holidays are all about what is on your plate and what you are eating next, so there was no holding back on the food. The client custom created the menu (sticking with her traditional Christmas dinner) and we worked with MAX Ultimate to curate the boxes. Each guest got their own holiday box filled with: a North Pole Eggnog Cocktail for the adult boxes only, baked chicken and broccoli ziti, chicken parmesan, Caesar salad, and roasted asparagus. No meal is complete without dessert, so using the client’s homemade Molasses cookies recipe, MAX Ultimate was able to make Nano’s homemade cookies and include a half dozen in each box!
For our guests that were out of town, I worked with Saltblock Caterer and those guests got a classic Caesar salad, chicken piccata, baked gnocchi, roasted broccoli and ginger snap cookies! Their cookies came in dough form, so they got to bake them themselves!
Games: The client told me that they are a big game family and quite competitive. Each Christmas they gather around, eat, chat and play games. So we had to figure out a way to bring this competitive side to the zoom world! We hired Fun Enterprise to host a virtual bingo night! In each holiday food box the guests received, they also received 15 holiday bingo cards, and individual dabbers to go with the game.
Little did the guests know there would be prizes in the end! I worked with the client to pick out a prize for each game and they just kept getting better and better. See below for a list of amazing and relevant prizes the guests were pumped to win. They increased in value as the games went on!
Dunkin Gift Card - because who doesn’t love Dunkin…
Ankle Weights - for those at home workouts
Three in One Charging Station - we are all on our screens 24/7 now!
Wireless Headphones - to keep your noise to yourslef
Air Fryer - these apparently are all the rage this cooking season
Portable Printer - plugs right into your phone
Hover Board - sorry parents!
An At Work Balance Board - working at home is hard enough so lets add a little challenge to it
A Cashmere Hoodie - because it is cozy season
An Away Suite Case - to dream of traveling in the future
Air Pods - a crowd pleaser
A Smart Toaster - trying to spruce up the kitchen because we spend so much time there now
Theragun - and the grand finale… a Theragun
The holidays are certainly not canceled. Our client was thrilled she still got to host Christmas dinner. Her guests were so happy to have Sunday night plans again. And everyone walked away with a present… so really, what could be better?
