Hi Karen!

Hi everyone!

My name is Karen – but I promise I’m not like the “meme.” :)

I just started here at AE Events as one of the new Event Coordinators and am SUPER excited to be joining such an amazing group of women who know how to inspire, support, and create INCREDIBLE events!

I was born in Clearwater, Florida but now live in a small town known as North Brookfield, Massachusetts where there’s more cows than people – you have to drive through THREE towns just to get to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts… crazy, right?!

I graduated from Bentley University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Global Management and Minor in Psychology. During my time at university, I was beyond grateful to study abroad for six months in beautiful Rome, Italy, where I learned as much Italian as I possible could manage, ate more gelato and pasta than my stomach could handle, and fell in love with the romantic city. Boy, do I miss it!

Once the “real world” hit after graduation, I knew it was time to continue to grow my passion in the BEST career field ever – events! I had been involved in many event internships and side gigs during school but truly learned the bulk of my experience working at a large corporation in Boston executing 10,000+ person events. My favorite things about working in this “lifestyle” and putting these spectacular events on is watching it all come to life and making my clients happy – seeing their smile on their face the day of their event is truly what made me fall in love with this career.

When I’m not planning events, I love being able to curl up with my pup, Diesel, who’s a German Shepherd, and binge the latest Netflix series with some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in hand. If I’m out and about, you’ll probably find me at the beach on a nice, hot summer day or exploring new “foodie” places with my best friends.

In conclusion, I shall end with a toast… cheers to making my clients dreams come true and to the next adventure with AE Events!
